213: Two Households, One Car
At first Judy Alexander was reluctant to share a car with neighbors Richard and Sue Dandridge. But their invitation intrigued her, especially since her aging car felt unsafe for long trips. After a trial year, she found the arrangement freeing and sold her car. Judy and Richard discuss their process — the agreement, scheduling, upkeep, and changing life circumstances. Beyond saving money on maintenance and insurance, there are a lot of unexpected benefits: shared errands, closer relationships, and simpler living.

Good video. Is there a way that you could add to your web site a share link to facebook so that my “friends” could see this? I would like to spread the word.
(There are various facebook plugins listed and rated on the wordpress site such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebookplugin/ - not a recommendation as I have not tried it.)

Hi Roy,
Thanks for the suggestion — it’s very timely. We’re having our website reworked, and will make it easy to share links in Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. Meanwhile, you can share on Facebook by copying the url into your Facebook message.
